A little tired and in need of general upkeep, but great room size and layour. Pools weren't very clean though.

when we asked to arrange taxi to Colombo, they say the price is 30.000rupies, we got our own taxi for 9500rupies, it doesn’t mean if you are staying in 5stars hotel it is allowed to give much higher prices than normal. Ripping people like that is not ok!!

Too expensive

The room was big. It had a nice balcony and a view on the ocean. I also liked the design of the territory.

The wi-fi was very poor. Most of the time It was barely possible to watch pictures and read news. Food quality and choice was subpar. I expected more fresh fruit. Also it was also very dissapointing for me that hotel staff could not provide me an extension cable, forgot to get a new remote and the dry cleaners did not work for "COVID-19 reasons". In the whole I think the hotel is too expensive for its quality.

staff was very friendly. Excellent service.

food was mostly the same every day. No knowledge, how to make a good sea food. It was mostly over cooked, tasteless, etc. The resort did not pay much attention to its private beach. Lots of garbage untouched for the weeks

Location and facilities provide a good value for the money spent.

Location and view is exceptional. Staff is friendly and attentive, they even changed the room for our request. We checked-in in an off-peak sunday evening. The stay was quiet. Rooms are clean. Food is good.

Check-in took a considerable amount of time. I guess this is because a bunch of selfish people who were late to checkout from their rooms.

We liked the place with sea view.

We liked the place with sea view. The room was big and good. Liked the bath room and tub. Rooms are large and in good condition. The location is very nice and relaxed. The staff was really good, specially Food and Beverage Manager was very friendly and looked after our requirement during the breakfast. Good variety of food in the breakfast.

I booked double room with a double bed but hotel set two single mattress together in double bed. There was channel in the middle and sleeping was not comfortable. No minibar and bathrobes were in the room, although they were included in booking.com description. The hotel only provided 2 small bottles of water per day and when they were finish, we had to call multiple times to get the supply. Several cocktails in the menu were not available because the bar run out of Tequila.

A completely enjoyable experience for every one of the 11 days we stayed , an amazing break

Breakfast was always buffet and had an amazing range of foods to satisfy every possible need We chose a premium room , very comfortable ,spacious, and a panoramic view in all directions. The happy, smiling , courteous staff are a real asset to the hotel, and the location is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Fantastic place. View from the room was excellent. We felt very comfortable, and we met privacy to our satisfaction. Staff was very friendly & helped us to go to restaurant by buggy. Highly recommend to plan anybodies next trip in Anantaya - Chillaw

Location is great.

Location is great. Enjoyed the breakfast. Staff is friendly. Had been to this hotel before when it was new, however it feels like the standard has dropped a bit.

Bugs started to come in through a crack near the door. (About a 100). Dead pigeon stuck on balcony net.

Check-in was late. The person there didn't seem to care much about it. Customer service was bad. We have booked an extra bed for one of the rooms. I have mentioned it when I made the booking, then emailed them, then again i reminded them at the check-in. Despite all that they didn't add the bed. We had to make 4, 5 calls to the reception to get it done. Then around 7 pm we got the extra bed. No bath towels in the bathroom. Only 2 small towels. No mini bar/fridge. Food was ok. Not so great. Brekfast variety was better than dinner.

Overall okay and comfortable

The staff were very friendly and did come to our aid when we mentioned the cleanthiness, they imidiatly had the place cleaned.

The bathroom wasnt cleaned and it had a bad smell.

Overall very good and enjoyable pleasant stay

Buffet food was great, a little better and more creative than the average spread Gorgeously designed hotel with 2 pools and buggies to take you to and from the room Decent variety of things to do including kayaking on the lagoon close by, good cocktails and bar also Premium room bathub/jacuzzi was splendid Easy access to the beach right in front of the pools Staff are attentive, pleasant and will try and fill any request you give them

Minor maintenance of some things, it generally felt like some things/facilities (like the pool) would only get maintained once demand picked up, rather than maintaining it on a consistent basis

Food was very good. Staff all over is very helpful and humble.provided all the information requested

Bath room got choked up. Staff tried but they couldn't clear it. Drinking water requested from room to reception, they asked call 703. Called 703, they have not provided the water in full night. Morning again called and purchased . Printed price on bottle is 100 odd ruppees, charged nearly 250 rupees.
